To take church leaders through an analysis of their church in order to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, and potentials that can enable the church to grow for the glory of God. The principles taught are biblical and may be used in any size church to help it renew its vision and focus for ministry.
This training is designed to assist pastors, deacons, church leaders, Sunday school teachers, and anyone concerned for evangelism, outreach, and the growth of the church.
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Session #1 - The Purpose of the Church
This session addresses the questions: "What should result from our ministry?" and "How do we measure up to God's standards?" The biblical basis for growing ministries is emphasized.
Session #2 - The Dimensions of the Church
This session aids the delegates in discerning the kind of church they attend. Attention is given to understanding the personality and characteristics of the delegate's church.
Session #3 - Setting Goals for Our Ministry
This session asks the questions: "What must we get done?" and "What fits our church/community?" Step-by-step help is given in establishing reachable growth goals for various church ministries.
Session #4 - The Problem-Solving Cycle Steps to Reach Our Goal
This session provides guidance in: "Mobilizing Our Church to Action" and to engage in "Planning to Succeed." Delegates will finish the seminar with specific steps planned to begin growing their church ministry.
